Traveling to Asia students will get and up close look at a silk worm cocoon and learn about the life cycle of this magnificent animal. We will look at what they need to survive and go over key words related to silk worms.
Alden helps with the school garden program at Lafayette Elementary in (sometimes) sunny West Seattle. She loves to help the kids get their hands on nature, from worm bins to hydroponic basil. When not at school she can be found in her own garden or exploring the coast with her family and lovable golden doodle.
