Entomologist 6-Bees

Entomologist-6.jpg

For our North American trek, students will learn about bees and the different types-from Mason bees to honey bees. Students will learn about how something so little can have such a large affect on the world through pollination, the cool shapes a hive is built with, and to taste some honey!

Alden Alvarado

Alden helps with the school garden program at Lafayette Elementary in (sometimes) sunny West Seattle. She loves to help the kids get their hands on nature, from worm bins to hydroponic basil. When not at school she can be found in her own garden or exploring the coast with her family and lovable golden doodle.
