As we travel to New Zealand, the students will understand bioluminescence and how animals can glow in the dark. We will get to see the life cycle of a glow worm and see the hands on reaction of a glow stick from our garden kit.
Alden helps with the school garden program at Lafayette Elementary in (sometimes) sunny West Seattle. She loves to help the kids get their hands on nature, from worm bins to hydroponic basil. When not at school she can be found in her own garden or exploring the coast with her family and lovable golden doodle.
