Looking with Loupes

Hello!
Lafayette garden classes have started and the students got out and walked around our new garden space. We have lots of sunflowers (that the squirrels are now devouring) and tomatoes, peppers and zucchini. We explored with loupes last week looking for things we thought were beautiful or different. The kids are so excited to see what the year brings and happy to be back in the garden. Link to our favorite loupes for schools below and here.

Alden Alvarado

Alden helps with the school garden program at Lafayette Elementary in (sometimes) sunny West Seattle. She loves to help the kids get their hands on nature, from worm bins to hydroponic basil. When not at school she can be found in her own garden or exploring the coast with her family and lovable golden doodle.
