Worm Week! It is always fun when they can work with live critters! In the garden the past 2 weeks the students have been learning all about earthworms. We held worms from the school worm bin and students drew scientific diagrams and labeled their parts.

Alden helps with the school garden program at Lafayette Elementary in (sometimes) sunny West Seattle. She loves to help the kids get their hands on nature, from worm bins to hydroponic basil. When not at school she can be found in her own garden or exploring the coast with her family and lovable golden doodle.
