In this lesson, students will get a basic introduction to chemistry and pH. We will talk about why it is important to life, from soil to our body. Students will then use a butterfly pea flower to test household substances
Alden helps with the school garden program at Lafayette Elementary in (sometimes) sunny West Seattle. She loves to help the kids get their hands on nature, from worm bins to hydroponic basil. When not at school she can be found in her own garden or exploring the coast with her family and lovable golden doodle.
