The school has had to move around some classrooms but the Garden Room has found a new home in the portables. It is coming together nicely. No kitchen area but we really can’t eat and cook this year anyway. I think the kids will enjoy it!
Alden helps with the school garden program at Lafayette Elementary in (sometimes) sunny West Seattle. She loves to help the kids get their hands on nature, from worm bins to hydroponic basil. When not at school she can be found in her own garden or exploring the coast with her family and lovable golden doodle.
