Recess Garden is Back!

Today was the first garden recess of the school year! Kids from each grade were able to help clean out all the corn and sunflowers that were in the playground planters. They had a great time digging out the corn, exploring the garden eco-system and finding all sorts of critters. We replanted the sunflower and corn seeds from the plants we pulled. The students had a great idea of taking some of the remaining live sunflowers to their teachers which was sweet to see. It was a great day to be outside!
