Parks Lesson 1

Printed Lesson sheet companion to Lesson 2 in where we read the book Tree Lady and learn about how one lady planted trees to transform a barren desert town into something with a historic park that would become a landmark for decades. We are going to learn about how trees can tell a story of age, events and history through using dendrochronology which is the study of dating events and time using trees and the rings they produce.

Companion Lesson:

Park Lesson 2
